Female and Fabulous: A Super Saturday for You - Huntsville's premiere women's event - was an exciting, hands-on experience of the things that make us Female and help to make us - well - Fabulous!
On Saturday, March 29, 2008 nearly 5,000 women from the Tennessee Valley celebrated being both Female and Fabulous at the Von Braun Center with day full or fun activities.
At 5:30AM, women began to line up outside the entrance to Female and Fabulous. By 9:00AM, the line had grown to almost 1,500 women.
More than 80 exhibitors, including It's Hip, brought wonderful things to buy, exciting ideas about entertaining, fun things to do and the latest information about women's health and wellness.
Fashion Shows and demonstrations, including this cooking demonstration by Teen DeRoode of Clementine's, were featured throughout the day.
Style Expert Clinton Kelly dazzled a standing-room-only crowd with his fashion do's and don't, including critiques of willing audience participants.
Evey attendee received a free gift and free admission, courtesty of Crestwood Medical Center. Overall, a good time was had by all!
